While the economy remains tight, there seems to be enhanced activity in home sales as the 2010 year ended with a strong rise in affordable conditions. Although the US real estate industry is still far from the normal activity prior to the housing crisis, the situation is nevertheless improving. But that doesn't erase the fact that millions of vacant houses remain on the block and the foreclosure figures are still in the millions. It does, however, provide an opportunity for new investors to venture into pre-foreclosure investing.
