Calgary Behind Other Major Markets in Home Appreciation

In not-so great news for its real estate sector, Calgary's January level of appreciation in home prices was the lowest in all of Canada. According to the home price index released March 31 by Teranet-National Bank, Calgary home prices grew by only 1.9 percent versus year-ago against an average of 7.5 percent across Canada.
